The City’s new Winter Warming Center will occupy a space in the basement of the Cambridge Senior Center (806 Massachusetts Avenue). This new community partnership provides a welcoming and safe indoor space where unsheltered adults can spend the night, sheltered from the environmental hazards of the street during the winter months. In addition to food and shelter, guests will be connected to first responders regarding all serious health & safety concerns and given information regarding housing and other community services. The Warming Center will operate from 7:30pm to 6:30am, 7 nights per week. Bay Cove Human Services has been contracted to operate the Center.
